What is Recommendati?

Recommendati is where you can recommend certain items from restaurants that you feel are worth talking about. We post up Recommendati all the time, and when a restaurant gets three within three months, they get a Restaurant Recommendati on our main website.

1. Recommendati must be made by one person per restaurant per month. You can't recommend everything a restaurant has.

2. Recommendati must not be faked! We will ask for a facebook or .edu or business email account to verify if we think you are placing a false praise on a restaurant.

3. In order to leave a recommendati, go to suggestion and comments (on your top left or below) and leave your recommendati there, along with your first name , last initial, and email address. Your personal information will not be given/forwarded to any third parties or posted publicly.

Corn Muffins: Underrated Goodness at The Loose Goose Cafe.

Our staff at umassmenus are salivating on a daily basis for one thing at the Loose Goose Cafe in Amherst: Their homemade muffins! If you pass by their business on any given day looking for a good coffee and a meal, our suggestion is that you try out their corn muffins.

To be honest, I don't know why their muffins are so GOOD. I know people who work there and they make them well, but there isn't anything ultra-special about their preparation. But a toasted ( yes, they toast them) buttered muffin alongside a sandwich or soup will leave you in a decent state of ecstasy for the rest of the day. All I can say is try them; you won't regret it. And they are cheap, so they won't blow a hole in your pocket.
